The production of 600-MW power at Rajiv Gandhi Thermal Power would start three months before its schedule, said Haryana Power Minister Randeep Singh Surjewala.

He also directed the officials to ensure the payment of minimum wages to 5,000 workers. He said more than 3,000 workers will be involved for early completion of the poject.
Answering the questions raised by the media, he said the Congress government is not just making promises but fulfilling before the schedule, he added.
A nuclear power plant will be set up in Fatehabad and Centre has given clearance in this regard.
