CALCUTTA, Jan 9: Richard Alford trained Star Precision, the winner of the Oaks, has an edge over her rivals in the 2400 m Wills Calcutta Derby Stakes, the Blue Riband event of the Calcutta racing season, scheduled to be held here on Sunday.

The first race is at 12 noon.
