
A three-member DMK delegation led by M.K. Stalin today held discussions with Congress president Sonia Gandhi on a tie-up between the two parties for the Lok Sabha polls even as AIADMK leader and Tamil Nadu CM J. Jayalalithaa signalled she was not averse to a tie-up with any party.
A day after she hinted that her party will go it alone in the polls, Jayalalithaa said: 8216;8216;Politics is all about changes and flexibility.8217;8217; This was quickly followed by a meeting between the CM and BJP national executive committee member Sukumaran Nambiar, who called on the AIADMK leader at her residence today.
Meanwhile, Sonia said after meeting the DMK leaders that 8216;8216;it is going to be a forward movement and we shall meet again in two to three days8217;8217;. Stalin said the talks were focussed on further strengthening the alliance.
