Stage set for Priyanka entry

It is learnt that at a close-door meeting with party workers in Amethi, Priyanka is said to have confided that 8216;8216;from now on8217;8217; Rahul Gandhi would be taking care of the constituency. Priyanka had been handling the region for the last five years. Partymen point out that in the Congress8217; on-going effort to forge coalitions, Priyanka8217;s campaigning 8216;8216;would improve party prospects and attract allies8217;8217;.

The resolution is expected to stress on Priyanka to decide without losing time. They had asked her to announce her decision before January 31 when 8216;8216;there is enough time to prepare for the elections,8217;8217; which is what AICC leaders had recommended in their LS 2004 report.
