Barring minor clashes, poll process was trouble-free. A Mandya report said six persons were injured in a clash between Congress and JDS supporters in Ram Rahim Nagar in Maddur Assembly constituency.

Tension prevailed in Yadapadavu village under Udupi Assembly segment following a clash between BJP and Congress workers. Reports about missing names in voters8217; list continued to pour in from several constituencies.
