Speeding truck kills two schoolboys, injures one

Two schoolchildren were killed and one suffered injuries after a speeding dumper rammed them in Jaitpur area of Badarpur of Southeast district on Friday afternoon. According to the police, the incident took place around 1.15 pm on the school road when the duo was going to school.

Police said the victims, identified as Rahul, 13, Narender, 14 and Subhash, 14, were all students of a local government school.

8220;When they were on their way to the afternoon shift of the school, a speeding dumper with a Haryana State number hit them from behind. Rahul and Narender died on the spot while Subhash is said to be in a critical condition,8221; a senior police officer said. They were rushed to the AIIMS Trauma Centre where Subhash is undergoing treatment.
