Sadly for Sourav Ganguly, his indifferent luck with health problems continues. After an injury-prone home season, Ganguly had to stay away from India’s session on the field this afternoon after coming down with a mild fever.

The doctors at the team hotel advised Ganguly rest, giving assurance that it’s nothing serious. Ganguly has already missed four Test matches this year owing to different injuries to the area around the hamstring and thigh.

The Indian team, however, wasn’t complaining much, seeing that the opposition was Bangladesh and Ganguly’s replacement, Mohammed Kaif, provided more on the field than Ganguly would have.
