Some IGNOU courses to be put on the 8216;Net

COIMBATORE, January 31: The Indira Gandhi Open University IGNOU is likely to make some courses available on Internet. A pilot project involving the computer sciences course has already been implemented. Once the facility is regularised, students across the country will be able to gain admission and register themselves for the programme using the computer, obtain course materials and carry out assignments, according to Dr P K Mehta, Director RSD, IGNOU.
