Saqlain Mushtaq signs for Surrey
LONDON: Pakistan world cup star Saqlain Mushtaq has singed a new two-year contract with English county side Surrey, it was announced here. The off-spinner will rejoin the club after the World Cup and will remain their overseas star until the end of next season. Saqlain made his Surrey debut in 1997. The club also boasts England captain Alec Stewart, Graham Thorpe and Adam Hollioake. Surrey chief executive Paul Sheldon yesterday said: quot;Saqlain is probably the finest off-spinner in the world today. He is a great bloke and I know he feels very much at home here.quot;
