As part of their endeavour Satseva, Care India Medical society, Pune celebrated Diwali at Taj Blue Diamond on Sunday with a purpose to greet the cancer patients under care. Present at the event were actor Shashi Kapoor, chief guest Jayantilal Shah, major general D P Vats, lieutenant general V D Tiwari and team of doctors of Care India. Speaking on the occasion, Shashi Kapoor said, 8220;I have been associated with this organisation for the past 12 years. Every Diwali, I make it a point to visit the homes of those affected by cancer and what makes the visit memorable is the smile on their faces. This year however due to prior appointments I was unable to pay a visit to the patients. Today, I have come here with great hopes and I request you all to look after the patients in any way possible and alleviate their pain and suffering.8221; This endeavour aims to bring moments of happiness for cancer patients.
