Sinha says MSCI change not to hit fund flows

MAY 19: Sinha told reporters on the margins of a tax conference that the market had already factored in a 0.5 per cent raise in the US benchmark interest rate and reduced weightage to India in the MSCI index this week.

He said in December 1998, BSE Sensex was 3,000 by December 1999 it touched 5,000 and even crossed the 6,000 level but there has been fall in the stock prices in the last few months.
