MUMBAI, APRIL 22: Pune’s Shradha Lodha kept her date with title but claimed only one in the Pepsi Open All-India Ranking Junior tennis tournament at Garden Tennis Academy, Azad Maidan on Saturday.

Shradha won the under-14 title but lost in the under-16 final which was won by Krushmi Chedda 6-3 6-4. Vikrant Sane won the boys’ under-16 title beating Nihal Advani 1-6 6-1 6-0.

Boys’ under-16: Vikrant Sane bt Nihal Advani 1-6 6-1 6-0,

U-14: Keshavan Narsimhan bt M Vinod 6-2 6-0,

U-12: Arnav Jain bt Agnel Gladwin 4-6 6-2 6-0, Debendra Das bt Vivek Parikh 6-1 6-0.

Girls U-16: Krushmi Chedda bt Shradha Lodha 6-3 6-4;

U-14: Shradha Lodha bt Ronak Shah 6-3 7-5,

U-12: Neena Sharma bt Monneza Siddique 5-7 7-6 (7-5) 7-6 (7-5),

U-10: Surabhi Varma bt Prachi Nadkarni 6-2 4-6 6-4.

The Cricket Club of India proved beyond doubt their supremacy in the game of squash when their men’s team routed Otters Club 9-2 in their last league encounter of the 27th Motilal Sanghi Inter-Club Tournament at their home courts, on Saturday.

Having already won the juniors boys and girls’ titles, CCI finished with three out of the four titles at stake, Willingdon Sports Club winning the ladies crown.
