Imran Mahat8217;s spell of 5/8 enabled Ness Wadia win by a whopping 90-run margin against MES Bhave in the PDMGSC under-19 C.K Naydu limited overs cricket tournament at the Wadia College ground.

Ness, batting first piled up a 145 for 5 off 21 overs which was mainly due to Imran Qureshi 42, John Besterwitch 25 and Ryan Scott 34.

MES Bhave began their innings disastrously and never recovered from the bowler8217;s onslaught at any time. Their dismal performance included six of the batsmen failing to open their account. They were bundled out for 55 which was mainly due to Imran.

Veteran8217;s badminton
Old Monk8217;s Sports Club will organise the IX State-level Open Veteran8217;s Badminton meet at WIE Complex from October 2 to 4.

Entry forms are to be submitted at the complex before September 28 between 6.00-8.00 p.m. Forms are available at Ashok Sports, Tilak Road and the complex.
