A summer yoga camp, conducted by N P Co-educational Model Secondary School, Moti Bagh, attracted large number of students. The camp laid stress on physical development of the child. Prizes to outstanding participants were given away at the end of the camp.

Fencing
The 10th National Senior Fencing Championships for men and women will be held at Lucknow from August 10 to 12. This was announced by the president of the Fencing Association of India. The first eight teams and eight fencers, both men and women, would be decided by FAI on the performance of the fencers in the championship, for participation in the National Games at Imphal. The competitions will be conducted both in team and individual events for men and women. All the affiliated units of FAI are expected to participate.

Sub-jr hockey
The final phase of the second Independence Cup Gold Hockey Tournament for sub-junior boys will be held in New Delhi from August 6 to 14.

Meanwhile, the eight-day qualifying rounds at the regional level will begin in Bangalore from July 25. Top two teams from each state will be selected to take part in the regional level tournament.

The winners and runners-up of qualifying rounds will qualify for the final phase in Delhi.
