Sidharth Verma8217;s all-round performance 61 and 2 for 31 helped St Stephen8217;s College beat PGDAV College by 82 runs to enter the final of Delhi University inter-college cricket tournament at the University ground here. St Stephen8217;s will take on Khalsa College in the final tomorrow.Sidharth had earlier made 52 and claimed five wickets in the quarterfinal against Hindu College.

National junior champion Manan Chandra struck form to beat Siddhartha Anand 9-6 in the final of the inaugural 9 Ball Challenger which is being played as part of the National Pool League. Winner of the 8 Ball Challenger a day earlier, U S Chaddha failed to make it to the knockout stage.
Sports medicine
The Sports Authority of India and the Indian Association of Sports Medicine will conduct a two-week certificate course in sports medicine from December 7-20. The course is open to doctors and covers 70 hours of teaching. SAI-IASM will organise Indian Sports Medicine Congress here during December 21-23.
