Dinesh Batra Audit earned gold in the men8217;s singles of inter-ministry carrom championship beating Md. Nasir Audit 25-21, 25-19 while in doubles he paired with Jaipal Singh to knock out TC Chaudhry/Virender Singh Health. In women8217;s singles, S Rajyalakshami Intelligence Bureau beat Asha Thakur Audit 25-8, 25-4. In the doubles, K Venkataraman/Padma Audit got a walkover from Asha Thakur and Vijayalakshmi.

Sunil shines for SB Youth
All-round display by Sunil Joshi 4 for 28 and 32 and fine spell by Rakesh Rawat helped SB Youth prevail over TYCA by four wickets in the league match of the fourth Maharaja Agarsen Cup at Mount Fort School. Sanjay Sharma 33 and Jai Prakash 28 were the main scorers for TYCA while Sunil Joshi 32 and Paras Prajapat 28 were the principal contributors for SB Youth.

An unbeaten 56 by Sarvesh Saxena and an equally 50 by Kapil Mehta enabled East Colts Sports Club to reach the quarter-final of the ninth Nawab tournament defeating Sadar Bazar Colts by 114 runs at Telephone Exchange ground, Yamuna Vihar ground.

Chetanya, Sachin star
A fine spell of bowling by Chetanya Nanda 4 for 21 and an unbeaten 50 by Sachin Sahani powered Rohtak Road Gymkhana to a nine-wicket win over Seven Star in the second Hari Singh Tyagi TYCA league at Mohan Meakin ground.

Moonways tourney
Darya Ganj Gymkhana Brighto will organise the third All India Moonways under-19 challenge tournament from April 11 at Yamuna Sports complex, Mohan Nagar, Gyan Bharti School and Tahirpur sports complex.

About 20 teams are expected to participate in the meet. Entries close on March 31.
