A good batting display by Sahil Jain helped Gary’s Cricket Academy score a four-wicket win over Criffit Cricket Academy to clinch the Chacha Nehru Memorial Under-14 Cricket Tournament. Sahil was ably supported by Rakshit Pant, who remained not out at 26. In fact, it was Rakshit who made Garris’ day as he scored the winning run at the crucial moment when Gary’s needed one run for victory with two balls remaining.

Earlier, Criffit set a target of 131 runs for victory. Vaibhav Chauhan (40) and Jitender Malhotra (30) were the main contributors for Criffit.

Brief Scores: Criffit Academy: 130 for 8 in 30 overs (Vaibhav Chauhan 40, Jitender Malhotra 30, Raunak Sekri 3/16, Sahil Jain 2/17) lost to Gary’s Cricket Academy: 131 for 6 in 29.5 overs (Sahil Jain 50, Rakshit Pant 26 n.o, Raunak Sekri 25, Kapil Sharma 2/19, Anuj Tagra 2/24).

Mahesh excels
Mahesh Chaudhary’s all-round display helped RBL Limited beat Subhania by 38 runs to enter the final of Ch Karan Singh memorial tournament at Nangloi.

Yogesh Kumar shines
Yogesh Kumar (70) helped LCC beat Baba Naya Nath Cricket Club by seven wickets to enter the quarter-final of Dada Swami memorial tournament at Dariyapur.

Brief Scores: BNNCC: 112 for 5 (Yogesh Kumar 70, Ram Kumar 3 for 13, Lokender Kumar 2 for 10). LCC: 115 for 3 (Ram naresh 48 not out, Hari Kishan 30, Sanjay Sharma 2 for 13).

Nishant’s ton in vain
Old Columbans defeated St Columba’s School by six wickets in a match. Nishant’s unbeaten 108 for the school went in vain.
