Nov 25: Mumbai University will take part in the Inter-University hockey and cricket tournaments, at Jodhpur and Bhopal respectively. Selection trials for the hockey team will be held from November 25, 3 pm, at Khalsa College. Cricket trials will be held on December 6-7. The venue is yet to be decided. Principals can depute their best hockey and cricket players to the Director of Sports, University Stadium.
Ryan International SC tournaments
Ryan Inter-School state-level throwball competition will be held at Cambridge School, Kandivli E, from Dec 10-12. Entries close on December 4. Ryan Inter-School state-level volleyball tournament, will also be held at the same venue, from Dec 2-4. Entries close on November 27.

Women8217;s cricket tourney
Mumbai Women8217;s Cricket Association will conduct a Super-8 four-team women8217;s cricket tournament, in association with Indian Gymkhana, from Nov 27-30.
The four teams will be named RV Achrekar, VS Patil,HD Hadkar and K Satyamurthy, famous coaches and promoters of women8217;s cricket in Mumbai. For details contact Surekha Bhandare at Indian Gymkhana, 4-7 pm.
Kreeda Mahotsav
Navghar Manikpur Municipal Council, Vasai, will organise a Kala Kreeda Mahotsav for men, women and children age 5-60 from November 26 to December 4. Competitions will be held in cricket, carrom, chess, cycling and kabaddi.For details, call 912-334258, 334660, 334354.
Chess from Nov 30

Schools tourneys
Mumbai School Sports Association will organise a clinic-cum-exhibition by Mumbai City District Volleyball Association at School Sports Centre, Azad Maidan on November 29 at 2.30 pm for all coaches of member schools participatingin the MSSA Inter-school tournament, from December 6. The clinic will be followed by an exhibition match between RCF and MbPT.

MSSA Inter-school basketball tournament U-16 will be held from November Inter-school boxing will be held on November 30 and December 1 at School Sports Centre. The weighing-in will be on November 29 at 4 pm. Entries close on November 25.
