
MELBOURNE, OCT 24: Australian leg-spinner Shane Warne scored an unbeaten century in his first full match back from shoulder surgery today.
Playing for St Kilda against Melbourne in a Victorian Club match, Warne hit 109 not out in his team8217;s total of 282.
But Warne, who is hoping to be fit enough to play against England at some stage of the forthcoming Ashes cricket series, did not bowl as Melbourne amassed 332.
England open their tour with a one-day match against the Australian Cricket Board Chairman8217;s XI at Lilac Hill in Perth on Thursday.
Warne toured India with the Australian side earlier this year, bowling well despite the strain.
