CHANDIGARH, Nov 25: Local Sri Guru Gobind Singh College, Chandigarh, bagged first place in 4 X 200 metres relay in men8217;s section in the Punjab University Inter-College relay competition here today at the PU Campus.

Guru Nanak National College, Doraha and DAV College, Chandigarh, were second and third, respectively.
Results: Men: 4 X 200m relay: 1 SGGS College, Chandigarh 1:33.21, 2 Guru Nanak National College, Doraha 1:34.22, 3 DAV College, Chandigarh 1:34.59. Medley relay: 1 DAV College, Chandigarh 3:32.05, 2 Panjab University Campus 3:40.02, 3 SGGS College, Chandigarh 3:40.20.
Women: 4 X 200m relay: 1 Khalsa College for Women, Ludhiana 1:47.39, 2 Ramgarhia Girls College, Ludhiana 1:53.07, 3 GGS College for Women, Chandigarh 1:56.91.

Handball trials
Trials to select Chandigarh senior team for the forthcoming 28th Senior National handball championships to be held at Pune Maharashtra from December 7 to 12 will be held on November 27, at DAV Senior Secondary School-8. According to a press release, players should report at the venue at 3 p.m.
