Seoni: Sacrifice raises tensions

Prohibitory orders were imposed in Seoni, Madhya Pradesh, following tensions caused by an allegation of camel-sacrifice during the Eid-ul-Zuha celebrations on Wednesday, official sources said today.

With the gathering of a large number of people shouting slogans, prohibitory orders under Section 144 were imposed in the city and police personnel deployed in sensitive localities, district collector G K Saraswat said.
