The national selectors retained the winning combination for the Mumbai Test against England starting March 18. Talking to reporters, chairman of selectors Kiran More said the committee felt that there was no need to change the combination after a fine show.
8216;8216;We are looking at the team balance, which is fine at the moment. We don8217;t want to make changes just for the sake of it,8221; he said here today.
More said the competition in the side for the fast bowling slot had intensified with Munaf Patel coming good in this match.
8216;8216;We tried Munaf as we did not want to take chances with Sreesunth who was not 100 per cent fit. We now have enough options and the guy who is in the best of form will play in Mumbai,8221; More added.
