Actor Sanjay Dutt has moved the Supreme Court seeking regular bail following his conviction in the 1993 Mumbai serial blast case.

Dutt, who was sentenced to six years rigorous imprisonment under the Arms Act in connection with the case, was earlier granted interim bail by the apex court on the condition that he would surrender after getting a copy of the judgement of special TADA Judge P D Kode.

The actor surrendered before the TADA court on October 22 after getting a copy of the judgement.

The court has held him guilty for possession of an AK-56 rifle and a pistol. He was acquitted of charges under the TADA.
