With all the top 32 ranked women receiving their respective seedings, Sania Mirza has been seeded 31st for the Australian Open.

Roger Federer and Justine Henin were confirmed atop the lists for the men8217;s and women8217;s draws respectively. The draws contain the top 32 ranked women and 30 of the top 32 ranked men.
Spain8217;s Rafael Nadal is second, with Serbia8217;s Novak Djokovic third on the men8217;s side. Russia8217;s Svetlana Kuznetsova was seeded second on the women8217;s side, ahead of Serbian pair Jelena Jankovic and Ana Ivanovic and Russia8217;s Maria Sharapova.
Serena was seeded seventh this year, one spot above her sister Venus Williams.
On the men8217;s side, Federer is aiming to become the first man in the Open era to win three consecutive Australian Open singles titles. Tommy Haas of Germany and Argentina8217;s Guillermo Canas have withdrawn with shoulder and wrist injuries. The draw will be made Friday.
