MUMBAI, FEBRUARY 14: Seventh placed Tollygunje Agragrami, when they landed here at Cooperage, were greeted with good news that Mahindras main defence component Jordanian Samir Jamil is virtually out of Tuesday’s National Football League match. He is yet to recover from the leg injury.

However, as the day grew longer the visitors also had a problem at hand in shape of hamstring injury to their stopper Kajal Bhattacharya. But he should be declared fit, team coach Amal Datta, announced after the practice session on Monday.

Tolly’s striker Srikanta Datta will remain on the bench on account of two yellow cards and his void will be filled by Moses Ohira, Datta said.

Datta has faith in his half line comprising Partha dey, Felix Abayomi, Chandan Das and Sasti Duley but still the team has less chances of improving their seventh placing against a buoyant rival with whom the Bengal team drew 1-1 at home. Both teams are in good nick looking at the last results Mahindras beat JCT 3-0 and Tolly defeated ITI 4-2. Thehandsome sixth win put Mahindras on the third spot. Both have played 14 matches each with home team garnering 24 and improving by each outing and visitors on 19 points.
Tuesday’s Schedule: BSF vs JCt at Ludhiana; East Bengal vs SBT at Calcutta; Mahindras vs Tollygunge at Mumbai.
