SAF soccer probables

CALCUTTA, MARCH 28: All India Football Federation AIFF President Priyaranjan Das Munshi today announced the names of the 25 probables for the SAF Football Championship, to be held in May this year.

Dasmunshi said five stand-by players had also been kept ready for emergency requirment. He said while the first camp would be held in Bangalore April 5-10, the selections of the final 20-member team, would be held in Goa from April 11.

The probables: Goal keepers Virender Singh, Kalyan Choubey, Juje Siddi; Deep defenders Riyazul Mustafa, Probhat Singh, Ratan Singh, Daljit Singh, Debjit Ghosh, Robert Fernandez, Joe Paul Ancheri, Deepak Mondal; Mid fielders J Alberto, Ranjan Dey, Rampal, Carlton Chapman, R P Singh, Venkatesh, Basudev Mondal, James Singh; Forwards Bruno Cutinho, Baichung Bhutia, I M Vijayan, Dipendu Biswas, Hardeep Gill, Sabir Pasha.
