145;Sacked146; staff wants

More than a dozen employees working in SBS Biotech Industry at Rampur Jatonwali in Kala-Amb industrial area have complained to the District Labour Officer, Sirmour, that they have been sacked without any valid reason or and prior notice.

The employees said that they were entitled to three months8217; salary or a three months8217; notice, but the management violated labour laws and suddenly removed them from service.

The employees said they went to work on September 19, but the next morning, were not allowed to enter the factory. District Labour Officer PD Sharma confirmed that he had received the complaint. He added that a notice under the Labour Act is being issued to the factory management. The employees have demanded justice.
