However, the ruffles have been toned down to a bare minimum. 8220;Too much ruffle will end up making you look like a bird, so you should go easy on them,8221; says designer Siddharth Tytler.

If you want to wear a frilly top with a skirt, make sure the top is not too billowing. Your best bet is on an aerodynamic skirt in basic form. You might also want to pair ruffles with clean cut pumps. For the corporate look, try tucking in a frilly top into your skinny trousers. 8220;Frilly tops also look very charming when worn under an unbuttoned jacket,8221; says Tytler.
Accessorise with chunky or thin necklaces i.e. beads, pearls, snake chains, etc. Leave a button or two open to show off your necklace.
