Rubal claims double crown

NEW DELHI, November 24: Rubal won a double crown on the concluding day of Anurag Sengupta memorial mini tennis championship, organised by Himanshu’s Tennis Clinck and Laxman Tennis Academy, at Laxman Public School by adding the boys under-8 title to the under-10 title he had earlier won.

On Tuesday, Rubal beat Yuki Bhambri 6-4, 6-0 in the final. The mixed doubles event was won by Tara Iyer and Raghav Nanda who beat Pranshu and Sanchit Sharma 4-6, 6-1, 6-1.

Gift vouchers worth Rs 20,000 and other prizes were given to the winners and runners-up.
