RSS not a guiding force to BJP: Rajnath

BJP president Rajnath Singh said the RSS had never been a guiding force to the BJP and would never be in future.

BJP president Rajnath Singh said the RSS had never been a guiding force to the BJP and would never be in future.

8220;The RSS had never been a guiding force. It is not and it will never be in future,8221; he told a press conference here.

8220;The organisational secretaries with the BJP from the RSS are as per our demand,8221; Singh said on the concluding day of party8217;s National Executive.

He, however, said there was a huge section in the party which would be proud to be associated with the RSS and 8220;there should not be any doubt about it8221;.

8220;We felt we needed more people from a background like that of the RSS, which is the biggest socio-cultural organisation in the world, for party8217;s work,8221; Singh, accused by a section of the party of holding consultations with the RSS on important issues, said.
