Rohan Gavaskar, Stuart Binny join ICL

The former India cricketer and Karnataka all-rounder have joined the ICL, swelling the strength of the rebel group.

Former India cricketer Rohan Gavaskar and Karnataka all-rounder Stuart Binny have joined the Indian Cricket League, swelling the strength of the rebel group.

Rohan, son of legendary Sunil Gavaskar, has played in 11 One-Day Internationals and has captained Bengal in Ranji Trophy cricket tournament.

8220;Rohan and Stuart have joined one week ago. They have signed the contracts. Stuart has joined the ongoing camp, while Rohan is yet to report.

8220;There is no communication from him as of yet on when he will join, but he is certain to join,8221; former Tamil Nadu stumper and ICL8217;s Executive, Talent Hunt, Bharat Reddy said.

He said former India batsman S Sriram has returned from England and he will join the camp on Tuesday.

ICL Chairman Kapil Dev will hold a press conference in Chennai on Wednesday to announce further course of action about the rebel league.

While Stuart, son of former India all-rounder Roger Binny, has played for Karnataka in domestic competitions.
