Either Road 038; Transport Minister T R Baalu is a demanding taskmaster or something is really amiss. For some strange reason, he keeps falling apart with those occupying the NHAI chairman8217;s office. So, while Baalu could not quite find the right equation with previous NHAI Chairman Pradeep Kumar and approached the PMO to get him out of the organisation barely months into his tenure, Dr Jivtesh Singh Maini, the incumbent who succeeded Kumar just a month ago, may also follow in his predecessor8217;s steps soon. It is learnt that the minister just cannot see things the way Maini does and wants him out at the earliest. Coincidentally, Maini was brought in from the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers at the instance of Baalu8217;s ministry. What went wrong so quickly for Baalu to want his own nominee replaced?
