
PHILADELPHIA, NOV 15: Germany8217;s Steffi Graf continued her mastery over Nathalie Tauziat as she moved into her second straight final at the 450,000 Advanta Championships.
Graf, who defeated Tauziat to win in Leipzig last week, needed just over an hour to dispose of the sixth-seeded French woman 6-1, 6-4.
Rebounding from a wrist injury that kept her out for two months, Graf, 29, will take a nine-match winning streak into today8217;s final, where she will meet world number one and top seed Lindsay Davenport. Graf had upset second seed and defending champion Martina Hingis.
Martin, Johansson through
STOCKHOLM: Unseeded Todd Martin and Thomas Johansson tamed Britain8217;s best today to reach the singles final of the Stockholm Open.
Martin rallied from a set down to beat third-seeded Tim Henman 4-6, 6-1, 6-2 in the first semifinal, reaching the championship match in one of the world8217;s oldest indoor tournaments for the second time since 1996. Johansson, the highest ranked Swede No. 18, edgedfourth-seeded Greg Rusedski 7-5, 7-6 9-7 before a boisterous sellout crowd at the Royal Tennis Hall.
