S.A.S. NAGAR, Jan 10: Rest of India won the M A Chidambaram Trophy cricket on the basis of a 110-run first innings lead over hosts and Cooch Behar winners Punjab even as the four-day weather-hit match ended in a tame draw here at the PCA Stadium today.

Tamil Nadu allrounder Rajat Bhatia was Rest8217;s batting hero, carrying on in the same vein where he had left yesterday. His marathon innings of 119 236 balls; 17 fours finally came to an end when he was the last batsman to be dismissed, caught plumb in front by left arm spinner Yuvraj Singh. Rest of India made 261 in their first innings after they had bowled out Punjab for a miserable 151 in their first innings on the second day. With only little time left in the match, Punjab lost two wickets for 52 in their second innings before the match ended.
