DUBAI: Moroccan Said Belqola will be the first Arab and, in fact, the first man from outside Europe or America to officiate in a World Cup football final.
Belqola, 41, who is a customs inspector in the Moroccan city of Fes and a father of four children, was named yesterday to referee Sunday8217;s title clash between holders Brazil and hosts France in Paris.
