Team Extreme Roller Skating club was established on May 12, 1995 with the objective of promoting the game of Roller Skating. Sports loving parents came together to direct and encourage the activity. P E Society extended their valuable support by providing space for the building of a skating rink in the heart of city.

Highlights of the club for last three years is as follows.
1 Maximum medal winning club of Pune at District, State and National Level since 8217;93.
2 Pushkar and Ashutosh were selected in Asian trials held at Pune in 8217;97.
3 Pushkar was district team coach in year 8217;95 and district team captain in year 8217;96. Ashutosh and Deepti were district and state team captains for year 8217;97. Sanjeev and Shridham were State Roller Hockey Captains for Junior and Senior team respectively in the year 8217;97.
4 Pushkar and Amruto received National Sports talent scholarship by SAI in year 8217;95.

Team Extreme had organised a free Roller Skating Camp in association with Young Express Club an Indian Express Group undertaking from April 20 to April 30, 1998.

The Camp had an overwhelming response. More than hundred students were benefited by the Camp.

The training was imparted by National level Skaters of Team Extreme, Pushkar, Ashutosh, Mukund, Sanjeev and Shridhan.

The students enjoyed the camp. A small race was arranged for them. The prize distribution was arranged in the form of a small party where the kids had worn fancy dresses.

Rajesh Rane, Vasanti Chawan and Prasand from Young Express helped a lot in arranging the Camp as well as the party. We are thankful to them. We are thankful to P E Society for providing the space fore the Camp. We wish to organise many such camps for promotion of this adventurous roller skating sport.
