These movies and shows are leaving Netflix in 2026; find out if your favourite will survive the cut

Blue Streak, Blue Crush and Blue Beetle are also leaving on the same date, and they will be joined by Captain Phillips, Clear and Present Danger, Crazy Rich Asians, Death Becomes Her, and Dirty Dancing. The controversial film Don’t Worry Darling, starring Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, Olivia Wilde, and Chris Pine, is also leaving at the start of the year.

When it comes to popular franchises, G.I. Joe, The Hangover, Kung Fu Panda, Fifty Shades, and Lara Croft are all on the chopping block. These include stars like Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Dakota Johnson, Channing Tatum, Dwayne Johnson, Bradley Cooper, and Ed Helms among others. Matt Damon-led The Martian is also departing, along with all-time classics like Martin Scorsese’s Taxi Driver, Antoine Fuqua’s Training Day, and Brian De Palma’s Scarface.

Other titles that will be leaving include Ocean’s 8, Star Trek, The Sweetest Thing, Zero Dark Thirty, Mr Robot, Donnie Darko, Prison Break, Confessions of a Shopaholic, House of Lies, the Maze Runner series, Dodgeball, Runaway Bride, Meet Joe Black, Lost, The Mask, I Love You Man, How To Be Single, Ghost, The Goonies, Dreamgirls, and Doctor Sleep.

This decision comes right as Netflix are trying to close a deal with Warner Bros, which will give them the right to their entire library of movies and shows — a deal which is bound to cause a seismic shift in the streaming and movie making business.
