CHANDIGARH, March 18: Fine half century by Rakesh Jolly 50 and Yashpal Sharma 44 enabled Haryana veterans beat Indian Railways by nine runs to enter the final of the Veterans cricket tournament held at New Delhi. According to information received here the final will be played on March 28 at Ferozshosh Kotla Stadium.

Haryana in their innings scored 201 runs in the allotted 40 overs.Rakesh Jolly 50, Yashpal 44, RP Singh 26 and Chetan Sharma 24 were the main run getters for the winners.

Chasing the victory target Indian Railways were bundled out for 192 in the 40th over.

Arun Sharma and Rajinder Madan took four wickets each.

Chetan was declared the man of the match while Suresh was awarded the man of the series award.

More than 200 sportspersons, including international players are expected to take part in the two-day Sportsvision8217; programme, which will begin tomorrow at National Institute of Sports, Patiala. The camp is being jointly organised by Sports Authority of India and Bausch and Lomb. The sportsvision programme will also be organised at Bangalore and Calcutta during the national camps.
