Rajdhani staff held for misbehaviour

An attendant of the New Delhi-Guwahati Rajdhani Express was arrested at Patna railway station on Monday morning for allegedly misbehaving with an Air Force officer8217;s daughter.

An attendant of the New Delhi-Guwahati Rajdhani Express was arrested at Patna railway station on Monday morning for allegedly misbehaving with an Air Force officer8217;s daughter. Two Bihar ministers played good Samaritans in the case and extended timely help to the harried officer in punishing the drunken attendant.

Mohammad Chand, the railway staff, allegedly misbehaved with the Air Force officer8217;s 18-year-old daughter well past midnight when she was asleep. On being approached by her father U Sharma, a Junior Commissioned Officer JCO of the Air Force, the two ministers reported the matter to the Patna Government Railway Police GRP following which the attendant was nabbed.

The two ministers8212;Youth and Cultural Affairs Minister Janardan Singh Sigrewal and Information and Public Relations Minister Arjun Rai8212;had boarded the train at Buxar railway station for Patna, when the girl8217;s father sought their help. 8220;He told us about the incident and said that when he had protested, the coach attendants got together and threatened him. Even the TTE refused to help,8221; they said.
