Rains subside in MP; toll touches 65

Rains abated in most parts of Madhya Pradesh lowering water levels in swollen rivers and providing respite to people on Tuesday though death toll in rain-related incidents mounted to 65. Three persons, including a woman and a 14-month old girl, were killed and seven injured in a wall collapsed in Itarsi on Monday night. Bodies of three out of the nine persons reported missing after being washed away by strong currents in different parts of the state capital on Monday, were also fished out this morning.
