MUMBAI, JUNE 4: A hat-trick in six minutes by Mukhtiar Singh helped Western Railway WR to beat Sport Authority of India SAI 5-2 and enter the semifinal of BHA Championships-99 here today.

Singh, the ace centre-forward scored in the 52nd, 55th and 58th minute.

Railwaymen took the lead in the 10th minute through R Gupta and SAI boys drew parity when Gurmeet Singh Rao converted a penalty stroke.

At half-time, both teams were locked at 1-1.

Singh pumped in three to put his team ahead by 4-1. Chanderpal added another field goal to increase the lead.

In the 65th minute, Prem Singh reduced the lead to make it 2-5.
