Rail services to be suspended for 3 hrs

ROOPNAGAR, FEB 28: Governor of Winconsin in the USA, Tommy Thompson and Punjab Chief Minister P. S. Badal are scheduled to join the Chardi Kala- Sarbat da Bhala march arriving at Chamkaur Sahib near here. The march, after halting at Chamkaur this evening will proceed to Anandpur Sahib tomorrow morning. The district administration has made special arrangements with the railway authorities to suspend train services for three hours on the Roopnagar-Bharatgarh section so that the marchers may not be put to inconvenience as there are three crossings on the route. Rail services will therefore, remain suspended from 11.50 a.m. to 3.15 p.m.
