
Srikrishna report likely tomorrow
MUMBAI: The Srikrishna Commission report will be tabled in both the Houses of the State legislature on Thursday, according to a official. The Government had earlier planned to table the report on July 29, but the decision had to be deferred owing to the on-going Parliament session, he said. The State Government meanwhile, has made elaborate arrangements all over Maharashtra to tackle any situation in the wake of tabling of the report.

NEW DELHI: The budget session of Lok Sabha was on Tuesday extended by a day till August 6 to discuss the Jain Commission report.

NEW DELHI: Vishamber Dayal Gupta, 70, father of Shekhar Gupta, Editor-in-Chief of The Indian Express, passed away in New Delhi on Tuesday. He is survived by his two sons, daughters-in-law and four grandchildren. The last rites will be performed at the Lodi Road crematorium on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
