NEW DELHI, APRIL 25: The CBI has registered a case against an executive engineer of the Public Works Department on the charge of amassing wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income.

Bureau sources here today identified the accused as M C Goel, posted at PWD division no 22 here.

Searches at his premises revealed that he had movable and immovable properties in his name as well of his family members. These included two flats and one plot at Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, one house and a shop at Janakpuri, NSCS for Rs 4.02 lakh, ICICI/IDBI bonds for Rs 1.44 lakh, UTI schemes for Rs 1.17 lakh, bank balances of Rs 4.51 lakh and shares of different firms, a bureau press note said.
