Award for Rehana Belim
Muslim Satyashodhak Mandal has selected Rehana Belim, a social worker from Arni in Yeotmal district, for its award given in memory of veteran social reformer Hamid Dalwai.
The award will be presented by socialist leader Pushpa Bhave on May 3 at Chiplun, at the native place of Dalwai.
Belim has been working for the rights of Talaq-affected women for the last four years. The function will be attended by Bhai Vaidya, Razia Patel and Dr Kumar Saptarshi.
Best staffers to be felicitated
The Pimpri-Chinchwad unit of the association of health inspectors in the state in association with the Pimpri-Chinchwad Junior Chamber will felicitate outstanding employees at a function on May 1.The function will be held at the PCMC hall at 11.30 a.m.
Summer camp
Champions Club will conduct summer workshop for children from May 1 to 15.The club will organise treks and visits to places of historical significance and social institutions.
