A total ban on heavy vehicles in the Raja Thakur lane near N V Gadgil School in Shaniwar Wada and parking restrictions near Vishrambaugwada are among the latest proposals of the traffic wing of Pune police.
While parking is likely to be banned in front of Vishrambaug Wada, it will be allowed on alternate days on alternate sides of the stretch of Bajirao Road from Nava Vishnu Chowk to Chimnya Ganapati Chowk. Another plan is to allow parking on alternate sides of Lane number 5, Prabhat Road on alternate days.
