Water closure in Khadki
Water supply to parts of Khadki will be closed on October 2 and 3 to enable the repairs to the intake point near Empress Garden of raw water supplied to the Holkar bridge water supply station.

The High Explosives factory, Ammunition factory, Garrison Engineer, MES military quarters at Elphinstone Road, Darga colony, slums near Khadki railway line will not receive the water on October 2 and 3, an official statement said on Tuesday. While the Pune Municipal Corporation will provide water by tankers, the supply will resume late on October 4.

Nagar Road closure
The stretch from Hotel Sargam at Yerawada to Shrimati Salve vegetable market on Pune-Ahmednagar Road will remain closed for vehicular traffic from October 5 for eight days to enable the Pune Municipal Corporation to lay a 600 mm drainage line.

The PMC will carry out digging work in the area opposite Hotel Sargam forcing the closure.

The civic body will also keep the stretch from Hotel Panchami to Phule Mansion chowk on Pune-Satara Road closed for vehicular traffic from October 2 to 10 to undertake asphaltation work.
