
SAS NAGAR, JUNE 11: Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority PUDA has floated a scheme for the allotment of 268 freehold residential plots in Sector 68 here today. The scheme will be closed on June 25.
Talking to Express Newsline, the Estate Officer, G. S. Ghuman, said a total of 268 plots of various sizes have been floated. Fifty four are 500 square yard plots having a tentative price of 18 lakh per plot, 46 are 400 square yard plots having a tentative price of 14.40 lakh each, 88 are 300 square yard plots having a tentative price of 10.80 lakh each and 80 are 250 square yard plots with a tentative price of 9 lakh per plot. The forms of the scheme are available from the authorised branches of the Corporation Bank or by sending a crossed bank draft in favour of the Estate Officer, Mohali.
He further said the applicants were required to pay 15 per cent of the price along with the application and the applicants selected would have to pay 10 per cent of the total amount within 30 days from the date of issuance of the allotment letter. The balance 75 per cent would be payable in six half yearly equal instalments at the rate of 15 per cent annual interest. The unsuccessful applicants will be refunded the money within 90 days of the date of draw.
