CHANDIGARH, July 13: Admission dates were announced today by some departments of Punjab University, and surprisingly, most of them have scheduled their interviews and tests on the same day, July 23.

The interview for admission to first year M.Sc (honours) in Physics will be held on July 23 at 10.00 am in the department of Physics.

The department of Sanskrit has also announced that the written test and viva voce of the candidates seeking admission to M.A. (I) will be held on July 23 at 9.00 am.

The physical efficiency test for admission to M.A.(I) in Physical Education and B.P.Ed will be held on July 23 at 7.00 am at the Punjab University sports complex followed by an interview at 2.00 pm.

According to a press statement issued by the chairman of the department of mass communication, students who have cleared the written test and applied for admission to Master of Mass Communication (first year) are required to report to the chairman of the department for group discussion and interview to be held on three days from July 23-25.

The qualifying aptitude test-cum-interview for admission to M.A.(I) History of Art will be also be held on July 23. Candidates have been asked to report at 8.30 am.

The aptitude test for admission to M.A. (I) vocal and instrumental music will be held on July 20 at 9.30 am in the department.
