PSCB powers ahead

In the one-sided quarter final matches, BSB beat All India Electricity Sports Control Board by 3-0 while RSCB thrashed Indian Bank, also by 3-0 margin.

The fourth quarter final was a keen tussle between LIC and SBI with the former advancing 3-2, late this evening.

PSCB and Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) will feature directly in the women’s Group A semis.

The decision for their direct entry into the semifinals was taken as Union Bank of India (UBI) and Central Sports Board (CSB) failed to turn up for their respectivegames. Railway Sports Conrol Board beat Telecom Sports Control Board by 3-0 in a Group B match.
